Weekend Chillout @ Zest

It was last Friday. We went for a long drive to Zest @ Big Beach, Puducherry. It is a beach resort located at 16 km from Pondicherry, off Cuddalore road. It is the biggest resort in Pondicherry.

I went along with my family members. That was an awesome experience and I would like to share few things that I really enjoyed.

We were nine of us and we went in car. We started around 12.30 in noon and had a plan to go to the resort and come back. On the way we visited crocodile bank. It is the largest breeding center of crocodiles. It also has a snake farm. We saw lot of snakes, turtles and crocodiles. We also saw how they take poison out of snakes. The people there gave us a info that snakes poison is a kind of medicine. Then after, we continued our drive. We had our lunch on the way.

We reached pondicherry around 4 o clock in evening. We visited Aurobindo ashram and we were admiring the beach and feeling the pleasant breeze by having coffee in Le Café. Then after we had dinner at Karai restaurant in pondy and left from there around 8.30 and reached Zest resort by 9pm on Friday night.
The first time I am stepping into beach resort which I had only heard off. It was lovely place for relaxation. I had a kind of break from my routine mechanical life.

It was like a heaven when I stepped into the AC room in this hot weather. What a cot...I was flat on bed and didn’t feel like waking up. It had bolster pillow and Sofa Pillows on it. Room facilities include 400 sq. ft area, glass walls, open air shower, LCD TV, etc. It was decorated with few night lamps and designer lamps.

We had dance class and they thought us a dance for the song from Passion Fruit The Rigga-Ding-Dong. I enjoyed dancing for an hour.

Since it is situated near beach people there made a sand sculpture. It was an amazing work by them...

Facilities in the Zest include a swimming pool, a Multicuisine restaurant, a beach shack, a sophisticated gym, a large conference room, and a lounge bar to chill out. Activities at the resort include cycling, beach cricket and barbeque.
After staying there for two nights, On Sunday we left the place with no heart of coming back to our routine life. On the way back home we visited Mahabalipuram. There after had our lunch in ‘The Farmhouse’ situated in ECR Road and we reached home around 5.30 in the evening.

On the whole, the trip gave me an unforgettable week end. Even you can take a break from your routine life and do visit places like this and get relaxed, have a peaceful and tension free mind.

Happy B'Day Latif (1st Dec '09)

First, let me wish Latif a very happy birthday. It was a blasting evening. It was Lathif’s b’day treat in Coffee Day. I met my friends after some 10 months or so. Had a great time, chatting with Fazlu, Akthar, Gokz and Latif, recalling our sweet memories of our school days.. I took my slam book with me when I went to meet them.Just to let them know how their wishes, thoughts, likings, favorites have changed as years pass by.                     Gokul, he doesn’t even remember some of our class mates name and Akthar has good memory power in that matter. But I really liked the phrase which Gokul was saying to Latif. He said, “Ennaku ivala pidikalanaalum eva thoughts pidichiruku da”. That’s a great compliment for me. Thanks for that da. Hey Latif, thanks for acting upon my words and you are as sweet as ever and fazlu, please take care of your physique. Ha Ha Ha..jus kidding man..                     You all know one thing, these people where real enemies of mine during our school days. Yes, life has changed a lot and it brings me a smile when I think of our fights and extreme dislike which I had for them before.Cool guys.
Enjoyed the evening, ate well, had great time.. But it would have been still better if Nana, Ranji, Vinoth and Syed were also there. We were missing you people. I am waiting for our next meet…

A Visit To Rising

By saying hai to Solaman(Rising watchman) I Stepped into the lift to visit Rising which is in the 3rd floor. Once I entered into Rising, I felt as if I got my life back (Since, the reception area was so chill ;-) and the day was really hot). Happy to see Preeti, Gowri, Abishek, Rangarajan, Vijay, Jambuji and Shakila akka, who were relaxing in reception after their lunch.

Preeti, definitely I have to mention about her. A person who likes me very much with no reason and this is very rare in her case. I came to know about this recently from our mutual friend.(I felt very happy when I heard that, Preeti. Thanks da for ur love & care). We both are from same place and people used to make fun of us since we are tuning the same channel often (Mallu channel). Hey people…you know one thing…Preeti will be very cute in her childhood. If you people want to see her childhood photo and to visit her profile…Click Here.

Rangarajan, as usual was passing not-stop comments for which he is well known and we do enjoy it, and then heard few timely jokes from Vijay, little advice from Gowrika & some philosophy from Mohan. I was happy to know that even Abishek is from my native..

Then I peeped inside the office because I was not supposed to enter into it :-( only Kidhir was visible so said a big hai to him.

Then I met my guide sir (Kandha Moorthi) ;-) and the topic took a small diversion towards Java and stuffs… few fun and critics…Hmmmm…Enjoyed those few minutes. Happy meeting Kiran, Kumar, Barani and Prabakar.

Turned my hand, saw the watch and realized its time for me to leave. While I am stepping out of Rising I met Muthu and Brijesh. Yup it was a fabulous day… A day to make a note in my ‘Book of Memories’. Sweet people…I am missing u all… Rising Rocks.

Meet with Rising Mates @ Barista

It was a hot sunny day.. One hour commitment. Started from my home. After 20minutes drive reached the venue. Ya, it was a small get together with my rising mates @ Barista.

I Parked the vehicle and entered into Barista with gladness to meet my friends after a month. Exited to see Kavitha, Jhansi, Yamini, Preetha, Kani, Jenifer and Menaka. But they didn’t even bothered to seen meL. Hmmm..people busy ordering Black forest cake, cold coffee, chicken wrap etc…and Kavi dog unequivocally said ‘Ush.. let me order first and say u hai later’…

I found a cool character that was new to our group. Then came to know her name was Jenifer. New entry @ Rising.

We got settled in a place after ordering. Yes, we started our chit-chat. We discussed few interesting topics which was really useful to increase the level of our GK ;-). Always the highlight is Kavitha, very humors girl and can feel the liveliness in the way she tell comedies. I was enjoying the whole one hour with her. Preetha and Kani were bit dull. Yamini, a silent killer, Menaka was sweet as always. Jhansi, didn’t shut her mouth, too much of energy even though she was hungry. Jenifer….:-) I don’t know what she thought of us. She was pretty cool. She said since it is the first time she was little reserved. Hope she too enjoyed with us. They gifted me a Pink colour Salvar which was really really pretty. Thank you so much friends.

The day was ‘The day of Hogging’. We had a grand lunch and in between tortured the bearer asking ketchup, water, tissue papers, ect

Enjoyed a lot, Laughed, Smiled after a long time. Its been a month since I smiled. I am so happy that I got a chance to meet u all. Keep enjoying.

The Camel (a) My Cheetu

The dromedary, one-humped or Arabian camel has a single hump and is well known for its healthy low fat milk, and the Bactrian camel has two humps. They are native to the dry desert areas of western Asia, and central and east Asia, respectively.

The average life expectancy of a camel is forty to fifty years. A fully grown adult camel stands 1.85 m (6 ft 1 in) at the shoulder and 2.15 m (7 ft 1 in) at the hump. The hump rises about thirty inches (75 cm) out of its body. Camels can run up to 65 km/h (40 mph) in short bursts and sustain speeds of up to 40 km/h (25 mph).
Huh…I know…This is the general information which everybody knows. I haven’t ever given importance to Camel in my life time but recently I got a sculpted camel as a gift from my beloved one and we named it as Cheetu.

Generally, we don’t bother about the things till it plays a role in our life. Before, it was just a camel which lives in desert but now it is my Cheetu.

Even u people would have experienced. The usual thing which happens is that… The destiny of the chocolate wrapper. When u, buy a chocolate for your self then I can say it for sure that the wrapper will go to the dustbin but if your beloved one gets it for you then it’s destiny will be your locker or you may keep it safely somewhere and it seams more precious than your diamond ring.

Even while opening a gift wrapper. If the gift is from special person then it will take at least half an hour to open it or else you will open it in seconds with all your vim. A simple human psychology.

This doesn’t show how much importance you give to that particular thing but the importance given to the person who gets it for you. Each and every person is valued by someone at some point.
You are not an exception….Even you….
